This was the first time Repower had received recognition at the Swiss Arbeitgeber Awards. “We’re proud of this award. It’s a nice confirmation of our efforts to make Repower an increasingly attractive place to work,” says Petra Dörig, Head of Human Resources. The certificate is reserved for companies that outperform the Swiss benchmark in their size category in a standardised employee survey.

At the beginning of October, Repower was awarded the Great Start label for the fourth time. Great Start is an award for companies that provide apprenticeships. Certification is based on a survey of apprentices and a presentation of the company’s training approach. Four awards won after four times of trying prove that Repower is doing a lot right in terms of vocational training. “Vocational training is something that’s particularly close to our heart and that we invest a lot in. The fact that our work is appreciated by the apprentices themselves gives us great satisfaction,” says Enya Hartmann, Head of Vocational Training.

Repower was also able to congratulate twelve apprentices who had successfully completed their final apprenticeship exams in the summer. We were particularly pleased with Fabrizio Cortesi and Alexia Braun, who passed their final apprenticeship exams with distinction with final grades of 5.5 and 5.3 respectively. Repower trains a total of 35 apprentices.
