Sustainability
Sustainability at Repower
Acting sustainably isn’t something you do just once and then at some point stop doing. Sustainability is more of a process that changes continuously and evolves in line with circumstances. After more than a hundred years of generating and distributing sustainably produced energy, sustainability is in our DNA. But we’re aware that this is not enough. We strive for a corporate culture where sustainability is put into practice and evolved.
Repower sees sustainability as an opportunity, not an obligation. We can develop new sustainable products and offer them in the marketplace. We can increase the share of renewable, sustainable energy in our power generation portfolio production by building new solar and wind power plants in Italy with Repower Renewable and pushing ahead with hydropower projects in Switzerland. We can move ahead with digitalisation with smart electricity meters and thus help optimise electricity consumption. The opportunities that sustainability brings for Repower are manifold, and we’re committed to helping shape a shared sustainable future.
Repower is ready to take on the challenges around sustainable governance. And we’re ready to seize the opportunities that sustainability brings to the company. We’re convinced that we’re on the right path and will continue to evolve, permanently.
By presenting this evolution transparently in our sustainability report, we want to make sure that we can continue to operate positively in the interests of the company and society at large in the future.

These three goals are access to affordable and clean energy for all, decent work and sustainable economic growth, and climate action.
