New partnerships with HCD Ladies and Origen

This season HC Davos has launched a new elite ice hockey team. For the first time, the HCD is competing with a squad in the top Swiss women’s ice hockey league. Repower supports HCD Ladies as the main sponsor. “Our commitment to the professionalisation of women’s ice hockey in Graubünden is intended to pave the way for talented sportswomen to enter professional sport,” says Repower CEO Roland Leuenberger.

Repower also hopes that its commitment will open up new perspectives for the next generation of female ice hockey players in Graubünden. Xenia Balzarolo has already seized the opportunity. The junior international from Poschiavo has been scoring goals for HCD Ladies since the 2023/24 season.

Nova Fundaziun Origen also plays in the top league – not in sports, however, but in culture. Repower is the new main sponsor of the Graubünden arts organisation, which was founded in 2005 to promote cultural activities in Graubünden to an international audience.

Origen reaches a large audience with dance and music theatre performances. The organisation is also committed to the vital preservation of historical buildings, conducts research into Graubünden’s cultural history, promotes young artists and revitalises entire villages on the periphery of Graubünden. Origen and Repower create valuable jobs in the canton and enable a high quality of life in the mountains.
